Professional ballerina, Carly Topazio, started her own photography business, Carly Topazio Photography. She went on to use those skills in 2018 to help promote her latest venture, founding a summer company for dancers in San Diego called The Rosin Box Project.

While practicing Yoga, Emily befriended a fellow student Marcia, who thought Emily would make a good designer. As the two of them began to sew together, they both realized they wanted to create more than chic, athletic wear. They wanted to create a company founded on compassion.
